Jeonghwan Kim

šŸ‘‹ Hi! I’m Jeonghwan, a PhD student in Computer Science at Seoul National University, advised by Hanbyul Joo at the SNU Visual Computing Lab.

I completed my B.S. in Rural Systems Engineering and Electrical & Computer Engineering at Seoul National University.

Research

My research interests lie at the intersection of computational knowledge and the physical world, focusing on how virtual intelligence can actively influence and interact with our physical environment.

My goal is to build machines with a deep understanding of human behavior across diverse interactions by fully leveraging perceptual capabilities. These interactions range from manipulating objects and navigating physical spaces to engaging in socially meaningful behaviors.
